How long does Prime Plant last?

The sheet lasts from 5 to 7 months, depending on climatic conditions and the amount of moisture present in the soil.

Is it suitable for organic farming considering the fertilizer released from the sheet?

The fertilizer added to the sheet is a solution of brown seaweed cream (Ascophyllum Nodosum and Laminaria Digitata). It is a completely natural product with specific biostimulant properties that is permitted in organic farming.

How many centimeters of the paper sheet need to be buried so that it stays in place even in strong winds?

Good morning, it is possible to overlap the sheets, but bear in mind that you will need to secure the entire cut with weights or soil. If you use the 1.20 m sheet, it will remain more resistant in the central part.

How should the drip irrigation system be arranged with this sheet?

Good morning, irrigation hoses can be laid either on top of or underneath the sheet.

If placed on top of the sheet, the water will be absorbed and then released into the soil, the life of the sheet will not be reduced, and it will help to keep it firmly on the ground even in strong winds.

If placed underneath the sheet, they will be protected from the sun.

What kind of fertilizers are included in the sheet? I would like a precise answer with details of the products and their composition.

Inside the sheet there are two types of elements that act as natural fertilizers for the soil and plants, namely:

- the plant fiber that makes up the product

- two types of algae (Ascophyllum Nodosum and Laminaria Digitata), first dissolved in water and then added to the mixture at a rate of 0.75 ml per square meter (organic carbon 6%, mannitol 9 g/L)

Can the sheet be machine washed?

Prime Plant is specifically designed to be laid with an automatic mulcher, even with a transplanter or seeder. The sheet is elastic and resistant to mechanical stress during laying.

We are a farm and would like to know the costs for large quantities. We lay the sheet mechanically and need rolls that are 140 cm wide. Can it be sprayed with water? Does this reduce its durability and resistance?

This product can be used for jet, rain, or sprinkler irrigation. The hose can also be placed on top of the sheet.

Good morning, the sheet complies with EU parameters for use in organic farming. It is made from FSC pre-consumer recycled paper, leaves no residue, and has a neutral pH. We are currently in the process of registering with Mipaaf, but this does not prevent its use at this time.
